Chef's Tips: Hummus
Ingredients:
- 1 can chickpeas , drained and rinsed
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/4 C lemon , juice
- 1 tsp parsley
- 1/3 C tahini , well stirred
- 1/4 C olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic , peeled
Directions:
1. Measure out all of the ingredients.2. Using a blender, puree all of the ingredients together.3. If necessary, thin out with water.4. Transfer hummus to serving bowl.5. Welcome to our Nutrition Education course!
In this course, we'll introduce you to Small Bites nutrition education program's Basic 8 lesson themes. The course contains materials that will prepare you to be content experts in nutrition education to successfully teach the Small Bites program with your students.
Who should take this course?
This course is designed for new Small Bites teachers who are about to get started on teaching the Small Bites program with their students. Course access is for 1 year.
